About the project
DESWA delivered the 33kV H.T. metering power connection at Itracom Fomi Limited in Kajiado County. Our work started with engineering consultancy, including attendance at factory acceptance testing of equipment in India, and continued through supply and termination of 33kV 300mm² XLPE armoured cable to the ring main unit.
On site we carried out the 33kV cable pressure test and terminations, RMU testing and relay programming, power transformer and 33kV switchgear pre-commissioning tests, SF6 gas refill and gauge repair, and prepared the test report, EPRA documentation and completion certificate up to transformer output. The job was handed over complete in September 2026, followed by six months of maintenance, standby and instant response.
